Wellness + Recovery Therapies

Salt Float Therapy — Sensory Relaxation

Experience deep relaxation with salt float therapy, a restorative treatment that combines the effortless buoyancy of Epsom salt water with a sensory-reduced environment. The high concentration of magnesium sulfate allows you to float comfortably, minimizing the sensation of gravity and pressure on your body. Inside the enclosed float tank, light and sound are significantly reduced, helping limit everyday distractions and creating a peaceful space to rest, turn your attention inward and disconnect from external stimulation.

Potential benefits include promoting relaxation, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety, and temporarily easing the sensation of muscle tension and physical discomfort. Research into floatation therapy, also known as Floatation-REST(Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy), has shown promising results for stress reduction and psychological well-being. By reducing external sensory input and allowing the body to float with minimal effort, the experience helps to encourage a deep state of calm.

Salt float therapy offers an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and enjoy dedicated time for rest and mental unwinding. Whether you are seeking a quiet escape, a way to manage everyday stress or a complementary addition to your wellness routine, the sensory-reduced float environment provides a unique experience focused on relaxation and well-being.

Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna Therapy

Experience the soothing warmth of the Clearlight Sanctuary 3 Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna, designed to help you relax and unwind in a comfortable, private environment. Unlike traditional saunas, which primarily heat the surrounding air, infrared saunas use radiant heat to warm the body directly. The Sanctuary 3 combines near-, mid-, and far-infrared wavelengths to create a full-spectrum sauna experience, encouraging sweating while allowing you to enjoy warmth at temperatures that are often lower than those of traditional saunas.

Potential benefits include relaxation, temporary relief from muscle tension and joint stiffness, and a general sense of well-being. Sauna heat increases skin blood flow and heart rate, producing some short-term cardiovascular responses similar to those associated with mild physical activity. Research into infrared sauna use has also explored potential effects on cardiovascular health, pain and quality of life.

Enjoy a restorative wellness experience that provides dedicated time to slow down, relax and recover from the demands of everyday life. Whether you are looking to ease everyday muscle tension or simply enjoy the comforting effects of heat, infrared sauna therapy can be a valuable addition to your self-care routine. Individual experiences vary, and staying hydrated and following recommended session times are important for a comfortable experience.

HaloOne Salt Therapy

Enhance your wellness experience with HaloOne salt therapy, also known as halotherapy available with your sauna session. This treatment uses a specialized device to disperse tiny aerosolized salt particles into the air for inhalation. HaloOne uses a 3% pharmaceutical-grade saline solution and vibrating-mesh technology to produce particles approximately 1–10 microns in size. As you breathe normally, these particles enter your respiratory tract, providing a salt-aerosol experience in the relaxing setting of our clinic.

Halotherapy is being studied for its potential role in respiratory comfort, mucus clearance and quality of life in people that have certain respiratory conditions with encouraging results.

HaloOne can be enjoyed as a separate treatment or, when appropriate, alongside your infrared sauna session. It offers a quiet opportunity to relax while experiencing aerosolized saline. Individual responses vary, and clients with asthma, chronic lung conditions or other respiratory concerns should consult a healthcare professional before trying inhaled salt therapy, particularly if inhalation may trigger coughing or breathing difficulties.

Steam Room Therapy

Immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of our steam room, where warm, highly humid air creates a relaxing environment for both body and mind. Unlike a traditional dry sauna or an infrared sauna, a steam room uses water vapour to produce moist heat. This warmth encourages sweating, increases blood flow to the skin and can help your body and mind unwind. The humid environment may also temporarily soothe dry-feeling nasal passages and help loosen mucus, making breathing feel more comfortable for some people.

Potential benefits include promoting relaxation, easing muscle stiffness and tension, and providing short-term relief from feelings of nasal congestion. Exposure to warm, humid air may also make the skin feel softer and more hydrated immediately after a session.

A steam room session offers a restorative opportunity to slow down, relax and enjoy the comforting effects of moist heat. Whether you are incorporating it into your spa routine after physical activity or simply taking time away from everyday stress, steam therapy can be a valuable addition to your personal wellness experience.

Cold Plunge Therapy

Experience the invigorating effects of cold plunge therapy, which involves immersing the body in cold water for a short, controlled period. Exposure to cold water triggers an immediate physiological response, including changes in breathing, heart rate and blood vessel activity. Many people find the experience energizing and refreshing, and cold-water immersion is also used by some physically active individuals as part of their post-exercise recovery routine.

Potential benefits include a temporary increase in alertness, a refreshing sense of energy, and possible relief from muscle soreness following strenuous exercise. Research has also explored the effects of cold-water immersion on stress, sleep and general well-being, with some promising findings.

Cold plunge therapy offers a stimulating addition to your wellness routine, whether enjoyed independently or alongside a sauna or steam room as part of a hot-and-cold contrast experience. The transition between warm and cold environments can feel invigorating, but it is important to approach cold immersion gradually and within your comfort level.

Red Light & Near-Infrared Therapy

Discover the benefits of red light and near-infrared therapy, a non-invasive treatment designed to support your body's natural healing and recovery processes. Our therapy combines 660 nm red light and 835 nm near-infrared light to deliver specific wavelengths of light to the body. This process, known as photobiomodulation, may help support cellular energy production and the body's natural tissue-repair processes. Red light is commonly used to support skin health, while near-infrared light penetrates more deeply into tissue, making the combination an appealing option for overall wellness.

Potential benefits include supporting healthier-looking skin, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and helping with certain types of muscle and joint discomfort. Research into red and near-infrared light therapy also suggests potential benefits for tissue recovery, exercise-related muscle soreness and selected inflammatory conditions. Results vary depending on the individual, treatment duration and device settings, and research is ongoing to determine the most effective protocols for different concerns.

Enjoy a relaxing, non-invasive wellness experience without ultraviolet (UV) exposure. Red light and near-infrared therapy can be a complementary addition to your self-care routine, whether your goals include supporting skin health, promoting recovery or enhancing general well-being. Our team can help you determine whether this treatment is appropriate for your individual needs.
